Welcome to Dentitis, a digital platform designed to support MDS students in managing their clinical and academic journeys. By accessing our website or using any Dentitis services—including Logbook, Connect, and future modules—you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
- You must be a verified MDS student to use Dentitis.
- Verification requires your college ID, department, and MDS registration number.
- Users must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Services Offered
Dentitis currently offers the following core services:
- Logbook: For clinical case tracking, appointments, and patient data management.
- Connect: A community tool to share and discuss interesting cases, academic updates, and peer learning.
- More modules may be added in the future to support academics (e.g., Thesis Tracker, Seminar Log, UG Lecture Log).
3. Account Responsibilities
- You must keep your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must provide true and updated information during registration and use.
4. Acceptable Use
By using Dentitis and its services, you agree:
- To use the platform only for academic and educational purposes.
- Not to share identifiable patient data unless you have obtained explicit consent.
- Not to upload false, harmful, or unethical content.
- To anonymize any sensitive data when sharing on Connect or similar modules.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
- Dentitis offers a free plan that allows tracking of up to 30 clinical cases.
- Upgrading to a paid subscription unlocks additional features and usage.
- All payments include 18% GST, which is non-refundable.
- Refunds are available within 7 working days of payment, excluding GST.
6. Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts for:
- Violating any of these Terms
- Submitting false credentials or data
- Misusing the platform or attempting to harm its integrity
Data will be retained for 7 days after termination for backup and appeals.
7. Intellectual Property
- All content, code, and design elements of Dentitis—including Logbook, Connect, and all modules—are the intellectual property of Dentitis.
- You may not replicate or distribute platform content without written consent.
8. Liability Disclaimer
Dentitis is an academic tool, not a medical decision-making system. We are not liable for:
- Clinical outcomes based on information stored on the platform
- User errors or violations of medical ethics
- Data loss due to technical failure or third-party service interruptions
9. Updates to Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. You'll be notified of material updates via in-app notice or email.
